mrrrrr <3
Eira.

I really have to thank James :iconthedemonfyre: for telling me to draw her more often.

I did miss her.

Finally am able to sketch her fast. Her design is getting more and more familiar to me

You did this in three minutes? Holy cow that is mind-blowing, it sounds like you practice a lot. XD

Anyway, she looks amazing! Eira's face is mesmerizing, IMO. ^_^

So are you trying to go for finished sketches in one minute? =-P Your proficiency with the pencil still blows me away, it takes me whole hours to finish stuff. XD I really need to draw with my pencils more, I'm spending a lot of time with digital, but not enough on traditional.

yeahh pencil sketches are fun :3

I always time my stuff cause I'm impatient.
But recently, some of my friends here suggested that i take it slow. So I did. It made my work better.

Thanks!

True that, nothing like the feel of pencil to paper! And you're welcome. ^^

Yeah, sometimes haste can hurt the quality a bit, (The last time I tried a speed sketch I was frantic and made a lot of mistakes without stopping to see them! It was like watching a train wreck in progress. XD) so there's nothing wrong with taking your time with it. ^_^

It does say a lot about your skills if you do that well in such a short time, so I can imagine how much your works benefit from pacing yourself. :3

yeahhh it does :3 hopefully it helps me some mor :3

you try it too ;3 time pressure helps a lot.
at first it will be full of pressure but as you do it over and over you won't feel as frantic as the first time. It helps a LOT in improving :3

Heh, I did feel like I was getting way more done when I timed myself, but my brains were scattered everywhere trying to get it done in an hour. XD

But yeah, I can imagine it would give me more room to experiment if I limit myself to a set time instead of all afternoon, and maybe I'll get more comfortable/confident with sketching on paper faster at the same time. :3

haha. I was kind of aiming for something like that. I based her off a korean idol whose hair is really fabulously long and wavy.

Thank you! I really appreciate your comments :) It inspires me to draw her some more (considering the difficulty I experience in drawing girls in general) <3
